George is doing very well and is quite content with his new environment. It may be a while before he is up and mobile (other than by wheelchair), due to his ankle fracture...but he is getting the best of care. It seems to be ideal for him in every respect. My father Ronald is almost back from where he started before the tragedy of his house fire. Since he left the nursing home and moved to this assisted living community he has had the following changes: He doesn't use a walker, he is out of diapers, he is socializing in the lounge and went to a movie on Sunday. The home is wonderful and my dad says he likes it there very much. The staff is kind and attentive to him. The room he has is private and spacious. We appreciate Allen's recommendation. I am convinced this is the right place for my dad. I hope that he can stay there for a very long time. And if he should decline beyond their ability to care for him, their Nursing Facility is right in the same building so he is pretty much covered without too much disruption in his life. ~ E. My mother moved to a lovely home in Solana Beach. We couldn't be happier. Thanks for your leg work in finding the perfect home. She lived in the same area back in the 1920's, and it's still close to friends and family to visit. ~ Dora C. ~
